By way of broader context, all LCD-based technologies are now the number one display technologies in their respective categories of TVs, monitors, and projectors. "3LCD technology continues to lead in market share for the overall front projection category, with the most projectors shipped worldwide in 2006," said Mike Fisher, senior consultant, Decision Tree Consulting. "The front projector market is growing at 20 percent and 3LCD has been the number one technology since we've been tracking annual vendor shipments to the channel."
