The KLK-E6 (MAP: $599) Color Click Wheel keypad is the next generation of the KLK-E5 keypad, adding depth and detail to the form factor of its predecessor by way of a visually appealing full color screen with a wide viewing angle that complements the interior without dominating the room.

“A high-end line deserves a high-end design option, especially when it comes to what is arguably the most visible element in a multiroom entertainment system,” Russound CEO Charlie Porritt said. “The new [KLK-E6] keypad was designed with direct input from some of our most successful Sphere Certified dealers. It is specifically designed to complement the design aesthetic of their most luxurious installations.”

The KLK-E6 is part of the E-Series product line available exclusively through the growing network of Russound Sphere Certified Integrators.

The feature-rich KLK-E6 keypad offers a touch-sensitive ring for source selection and menu navigation, responsive hard buttons for frequently used commands, and a detailed display of source activity. The built-in IR receiver allows for easy use with a remote control.

The familiar layout allows users to easily navigate available menus, adjust settings and select sources, providing access and control of music and video anywhere in the home.

As the newest user interface for Russound’s ACA-E5 Multizone Controller Amplifier, the KLK-E6 provides intuitive control of Russound Smart source components, including the SMS3 Smart Media Server, iBridge Dock and Bay, and the ST2 Dual Smart Tuners with AM/FM and/or satellite radio options. The color LCD screen displays all metadata, including Artist, Song, Title, Playlist, Channel, etc. In addition, the keypad supports custom names for presets, banks, themes and sources, as well as seven different selectable screen colors for true customization.

When combined with the Russound DTS1 Desktop Stand, this wall-mounted keypad can be placed on a desk, coffee table, or countertop.
