OmniMount Wins CES Innovations Award

Phoenix, AZ--OmniMounts new MotionPicture Motion52 Motorized Cantilever Mount was selected by the Consumer Electronics Association as an Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Award honoree in the Home Theater Accessories product category. All Innovations honorees were officially announced Tuesday at the 2007 International CES Press Preview held in New York City.

"It is a great honor to be recognized by the Consumer Electronics Association for a product that represents our foray into a new automation category for OmniMount," said Annette Carrier, general manager of brand marketing. "We believe the Motion52 will change the way viewers experience 'motion pictures' forever - giving them the best seat in the house no matter where they sit. We are also confident that consumers will appreciate the quality, design aesthetics and reliability of this groundbreaking product."

The Motion52, developed in partnership with Samsung, is an automated flat panel cantilever mount that allows users to tilt, pan and swivel a flat panel display with the touch of a button offering limitless viewing angles. The Motion52 is remote controllable via IR (2 memory) and RS232 (3 memory) programmable positions and features a safety mechanism that stops motion when movement is obstructed. The universal rails on this mount assure compatibility with all brands and it fits most 37" to 52" flat panels up to 95 lbs. The Motion52 is available now and retails at $799.95.

The Motion52 was chosen within the Home Theater Accessories Product Category by a panel of respected journalists, designers and engineers who judged more than 1,000 entries on industrial design, aesthetics, quality and usability, among other attributes.
