Coopersburg, PA -- Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co.
Inc., has issued a call for entries for its fifth annual Excellence
Awards, a competition for its HomeWorks and Sivoia QED system providers.
The competition was created as a way to recognize the industry’s best
Lutron lighting and shade control projects. More than 30 installation
companies have been honored since its inception in 2003.
This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, Sept.
4, in conjunction with the Custom Electronics Design and Installation
Association (CEDIA) EXPO in Denver, Colorado.
A total of 10 awards will be presented:
1. Best Green Project (NEW for 2008)
2. Best RF Retrofit Project
3. Best Total Light Control Project
4. Best Dressed System
5. Best Shade Project
6. Most Unique Programming
7. Best International Project
8. Best Integration with Third-Party Equipment
9. Best MDU/Residential Tower
10. Best Light Control Testimonial
Winners will receive a recognition award and will have a logo added to
their company listing on the Lutron website (www.lutron.com).
To commemorate the Excellence Awards’ five-year anniversary, all past
winners will be honored, with special recognition being given to the
companies that have captured the most Excellence Awards since 2003.
