Permanent linkQueens, NY--Brooklyn-based Fesco Distributors' second-annual Expo
welcomed more than 1,000 dealers to do business, demo new products, and
network. Held September 16 and 17, at the scenic Terrace on the Park in
Queens, the dealer event showcased products from 35 of Fesco's valued
vendors.
At the event dealers were invited to partake in 300 "show
specials"--significant discounts on premium lines and new brands. David
Goldstein, Fescos director of sales and marketing, is proud of the
ever-growing Fesco portfolio and this unique forum for dealers to meet
manufacturers. "The vendor feedback is very positive and there is so
much foot traffic we displayed each brand three times," he said.
Fesco distributes premium brands and popular CE lines from Boston
Acoustics, Coby, Peerless, Polk Audio, Sony, Yamaha, and many others.
"Vast inventory and the right price" sets Fesco apart from other
distributors, Goldstein added. It also earns them dealer loyalty.
David Casale, a representative with JBA Sales, appreciated the high
dealer turnout at the event. Among the exciting Yamaha audio products
on special was the YSP-900BL, a digital-amp driven soundbar for true
5.1 reproduction. The YSP-900BL is one of the more "popular items"
among dealers, Casale said.
Business is good, Goldstein said, even during the current market
irregularities. Nonetheless, "you can't sit still if you want to
succeed," he said. "We are always looking to new avenues of growth and
building our presence in the CEDIA channel, specifically with our
strong LCD and plasma [offerings]." Last year Fesco launched a new
website for easier access to product inventory information and pricing,
and continues to expand its brand portfolio, most recently with Casio.
